Operating since 2011, 'Cedar Credit Insurance PCC Limited' (Cedar) is regsitered (No.1-54066) and regulated (GFSC Reference 2019014) in Guernsey.

Cedar offers Protected Cell Company (PCC) solutions to a variety of partners seeking to take advantage of Guernsey's PCC legal and regulatory environment. Cedar Insurance works closely with Kuperstein Kapital Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK.

Cedar retains the services of Robus Group Limited which acts as its insurance manager. Robus was established in 2011 and has a staff of 17 in Guernsey.
About the Board
Edward Charles
Mr. Charles is a founder and director of Cedar Credit insurance PCC Ltd. and also of Kuperstein Kapital Ltd. While at JP Morgan he was Head of Structured Products Europe, Head of Investor Derivative Marketing Europe, Head of Sterling Derivatives Trading: he ran the sterling interest rate swap, cap, floor and swaption books. He ran the Sterling Eurobond Trading book and was a UK Gilt Market maker. At Credit Suisse he was Managing Director and Head of Strategic Transactions for Europe and the Global Emerging Markets. At Bank of America he was Managing Director, Head of Credit Structuring EMEA.
Hannes Boeck
Mr Boeck is a founder and director of Cedar Credit Insurance PCC Ltd. Mr Boeck began his career at Cleary, Gottlieb in New York. In ‘96 he joined Credit Suisse, London, where he was MD, leading the global Insurance Product Development unit which structured and marketed tax, regulatory and accounting motivated transactions covering all asset classes and clients. In 2004, he left Credit Suisse to co-set up and lead, with Mr Charles, Kuperstein Vienna, which acted as a principal to financial institutions and other sizeable entities to generate regulatory capital. Mr Boeck holds graduate degrees in Economics and Computer Science and also in Law from the University of Vienna. He also holds an LLM in Taxation from NYU School of Law, New York which he attended as a Fullbright scholar.
Mark Helyar
Mr Helyar is a non-executive director of Cedar Credit Insurance PCC Ltd as well as being a deputy in the States of Deliberation in Guernsey and holds an Of Counsel position at Bedell Cristin’s Guernsey office having been a founding and Managing Partner between 2006-2016 and former Bâtonnier of the Guernsey Bar. He advises on all matters relating to the insurance, captive and reinsurance sectors. Mr Helyar is an acknowledged international expert in the formation and structuring of segregated cell companies for insurance and capital raising, having recently assisted in drafting ICC legislation for Malta and advised other foreign governments on implementation of similar legislation.
